Major and Michelle Robinson met in their former careers designing and building theme parks in Orlando, Florida. Major belongs to the Northern Cheyenne Nation from Montana. Michelle is a Floridian of Irish and Scottish ancestry.
The Robinsons owned a popular bed-and-breakfast on the Reservation for several years. As their family grew, so did their desire to find a way to share and showcase their multicultural roots to a broader audience. Sage & Oats Trading Post opened in the summer of 2018 and shortly after was recognized by the Montana Department of Commerce as the 2019 Made in Montana Retailer of the Year! As a registered Native Made & Made in Montana retailer, our specialty is handcrafted gifts which celebrate Montana’s rich history, culture & diversity.
Major and Michelle are different together – and they hope you'll find joy in celebrating diversity with them.
If you're in Helena or nearby, come in and say hello!
