White Sonoran Wheat Berries; Made on the Gila River Reservation


This soft white low gluten wheat was brought to the Pima more than 300 years ago by Padre Eusabio Kino, a Jesuit missionary from Spain. The Pima were the first farmers in the Western Hemisphere to grow wheat and are still growing it! 

Soak, cook and serve like rice or toss with raw veggies for a salad. Add to yogurt or fruit for a breakfast treat - a healthy alternative to breakfast cereal you will love.
