The inspiration for our multicultural store begins – and continues – with a love story.
Major and Michelle Robinson met in their former careers designing and building theme parks in Orlando, Florida. Major belongs to the Northern Cheyenne Nation from Montana. Michelle is a Floridian of Irish and Scottish ancestry.
The Robinson's owned a popular bed-and-breakfast on the Reservation for several years. As their family grew, so did their desire to find a way to share and showcase their multicultural roots to a broader audience. They opened Sage & Oats Trading Post in the summer of 2018.
Major and Michelle are different together – and they hope you'll find joy in celebrating diversity with them.
If you're in Helena or nearby, come in and say hello!
